Hardy Hall

Hardy Hall Renovations / University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Park Campus / Long Beach, MS - Our firm provided design services and MEMA/FEMA coordination for this historic project involving renovations to a 45,000 SF building damaged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and 7,000 SF of new addition. The building was built in 1921 and was originally constructed as a dormitory. The first floor dining hall, auditorium and reception room were restored to their original form and purpose. The second floor hosts the new center for the administration and the third floor houses the faculty for the College of Education and Psychology. The new addition creates a new entrance and houses the kitchen and bookstore on the north side of the building.

Project data: $8.7 Million; 51,000 SF; Completed in 2013; MEMA/FEMA coordination
